The E22M supports up to 22kW AC charging at 400V three-phase / 32A per phase, suitable for locations with three-phase electrical infrastructure.
Actual charging power depends on the vehicle's onboard AC charger, available site capacity, and charger configuration.
Multiple communication options are available for different installation environments:
Wi-Fi
Bluetooth
Ethernet
OCPP connectivity
This allows operators to connect chargers to local or cloud-based charging management systems.
The E22M supports OCPP-based communication and can be integrated with compatible third-party CSMS platforms for functions such as:
Charger monitoring
User authorization
Charging session management
Remote operation
Charging data collection
For commercial charging applications, the E22M can support different payment and authentication methods, including:
POS terminal integration
RFID / card authentication
QR code payment
Available functions can be configured according to the project and local payment requirements.
The metal housing provides improved resistance to corrosion, impact, and vandalism, making the charger suitable for demanding commercial and semi-public charging environments.
The E22M 22kW EV charging station is designed for applications where vehicles remain parked long enough for AC charging.
| Application | Typical Requirement |
|---|---|
| Commercial parking | Payment, OCPP and remote management |
| Office & workplace | Employee and visitor charging |
| Hotels & retail | Destination charging |
| Residential communities | User identification and billing |
| Fleet depots | Centralized charger management |
| Public parking | Durable enclosure and flexible payment |
A 22kW charger provides substantially more available AC power than a typical 7kW single-phase charger, provided that both the electrical infrastructure and vehicle support the higher charging rate.
| Specification | 7kW AC Charger | 22kW AC Charger |
|---|---|---|
| Typical supply | Single-phase | Three-phase |
| Typical current | 32A | 32A per phase |
| Maximum charger output | ≈7.4kW | 22kW |
| Typical application | Residential | Commercial / residential |
| Infrastructure requirement | Lower | Three-phase supply |
Important: A 22kW charging station does not mean every EV will charge at 22kW. For example, an EV equipped with an 11kW onboard charger will normally be limited to approximately 11kW even when connected to a 22kW charger.
A 22kW EV charger supplies AC power to the vehicle, while a DC fast charger converts AC to DC inside the charging station and supplies DC power directly to the vehicle battery.
| Feature | 22kW AC Charger | DC Fast Charger |
|---|---|---|
| Charging type | AC | DC |
| Typical power | Up to 22kW | 30kW–600kW+ |

No. The actual AC charging rate is limited by the vehicle's onboard charger. A vehicle with an 11kW onboard charger will generally charge at up to 11kW on a 22kW station.
For full 22kW output, a typical European configuration requires approximately 400V three-phase power at 32A per phase.
Yes. 22kW AC charging is particularly suitable for workplaces, hotels, retail parking, residential communities, and other locations where vehicles normally remain parked for several hours.
Yes. The E22M supports OCPP-based integration and can connect to compatible third-party CSMS platforms.
Yes. Depending on the configuration, it can support POS terminals, card-based authentication, and QR code payment for commercial charging applications.
